Projective Geometry Course
with Henrike Holdrege

Beginning on Tuesday, March 29, I will again offer a morning class in projective geometry from 8.30 to 10 a.m. for ten consecutive Tuesdays at the Institute. On the one hand, the course is a continuation of our previous work in the fall and spring of 2004. It will give the opportunity for continuing participants to widen and deepen their understanding. Since, on the other hand, we will take up new problems within the field of projective geometry, the course is open to—and welcomes—newcomers as well.

As before, the course will engage you in imagination and hands-on exercises. It is accessible to and also of value for people who never liked mathematics. Among the merits of projective geometry are exact imagination, inner observation, contemplation and beauty.
