A Painter's Search for Meaning in Nature
Benefit Event for The Nature Institute

North Pointe Cultural Arts Center, Rte 9, Kinderhook, NY
As a landscape painter, Thomas Locker has spent decades
studying nature and bringing her to expression in his paintings
and children's books. In his talk, Thomas will speak about
his ongoing search for meaning in nature. It's a search
to the mountaintop, but also a search in the seven directions
of the Native Americans. He will show eight new paintingsdisplayed
for the first timeof his beloved Catskill Mountains.
The talk will be followed by a panel discussion on "Finding
Nature's Meaning Through Art, Science and Religion."
Panel discussion participants will be:

This should be a stimulating evening for all art and nature
lovers and admirers of Thomas Locker's work. There will
be refreshments, book signing, and the opportunity to see
other works by Thomas Locker on exhibit at North Pointe.

of The Nature Institute, which is committed to helping people
